Bio – Keith Gordon, President

Keith Gordon joined GMI Distribution in 1981 after a four year career as a licensed Deck Officer sailing worldwide aboard US flag container ships. Keith held many positions within the company and was appointed President of GMI in 1993. Keith is an active member of the Warehouse Education and Research Council, the New Jersey Business Association and various industry and trade organizations. A graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York, Keith holds degrees in Management and International Transportation in addition to serving as Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Keith enjoys all outdoor activities including fishing and golf and resides in Belmar, New Jersey.

Bio – Kenneth Gordon, Vice President

Kenneth Gordon graduated from The Citadel in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and was immediately commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps. Designated a Naval Aviator in 1979, Ken flew helicopters on active duty in California, Hawaii and Japan until joining GMI Distribution in 1987. He was a distribution center manager for GMI when his Marine Reserve Squadron was sent to Saudi Arabia for the liberation of Kuwait in 1990. Ken is presently the Vice President of GMI Distribution and Owner/ Vice President of Transmark, Inc. a licensed interstate trucking company. He resides in Colts Neck, NJ.
